Born and raised in Hong Kong, Zion pursued his studies in Sydney, Australia attending Macquarie University in Sydney, studying French. After graduation, he pursued further cultural and language exchange at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, after which he traveled extensively across Europe and stayed with local families in France, Austria and Switzerland.

Zion considers watching the students he works with grow as the most rewarding part of the admissions process. Every student is unique with their background and profile, and Zion works tirelessly to find the best schools for each child as well as champion and advocate for them at those schools. With this being his eighth year at Foundation and with over 100 schools visited, he has helped almost over a hundred students find the best fit for students attending schools in the U.K., Switzerland, the U.S as well as locally in Hong Kong. Zion's students have successfully placed students in Phillips Andover Academy, Philips Exeter Academy, Chote Rosemary Hall, Deerfield Academy, The Hotchkiss School, The Lawrenceville School, Groton School, Milton Academy, Concord Academy, Middlesex School, The Taft School, Peddie School, Cate School, St. Mark's School, Loomis Chaffee School, Blair Academy, Fay School, Eaglebrook Schook, Indian Mountain School, Rumsey Hall School, Eton College, Harrow School, Tonbridge School, Winchester College, Benenden School, Downe House School, Dragon School, Horris Hill School, Upper Canada College, Appleby College, Institut Le Rosey, King's Academy, etc.
