Zoe Han holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne. With a strong foundation in language, education, and student development, she has extensive experience guiding students through admissions processes across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong.

Over the years, Zoe has worked with students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them navigate pathways ranging from boarding school admissions to undergraduate and graduate applications. She is known for her ability to align educational goals with long-term personal and academic development, ensuring that students build both competitive applications and meaningful growth experiences.

Zoe adopts a growth-oriented and collaborative advising philosophy. She works closely with students to explore interests, define goals, and develop the skills needed for future success. Through ongoing progress tracking and family engagement, she helps students strengthen self-awareness, confidence, and academic readiness throughout the admissions journey.

Cynthia Sun attended a private girls’ school in New Zealand before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Human Resource Management from Victoria University of Wellington. Her international educational background provides her with valuable insight into cross-cultural learning and long-term educational planning.

With more than 14 years of experience in international education, Cynthia previously served as an admissions advisor at two large international schools, where she guided families through overseas secondary school and university admissions. Her extensive experience working closely with students and parents has enabled her to develop a deep understanding of family priorities, educational goals, and student development needs.

Today, Cynthia focuses on family consultation, client relationship management, and admissions support coordination. She works closely with families to understand their educational goals and helps connect students with the most suitable advisors and services to support their long-term development.

June Cao graduated from RMIT University with a degree in Business Administration and previously studied Engineering at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore. Before pursuing her international education journey, she attended Chengdu Foreign Languages School in China as a boarding student, giving her first-hand insight into student independence, adaptation, and personal growth.

As the Singapore Country Manager at Foundation Global Education, June has spent years helping students and families navigate educational opportunities across Singapore and abroad. She works closely with families to understand their goals and design personalized educational pathways that align with each student’s strengths, interests, and long-term aspirations.

Prior to joining the international education sector, June served as a student internship mentor at Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Business and worked as a career coach within the human resources consulting industry. Her experience in career development, résumé coaching, and interview preparation enables her to guide students in building both academic and life skills that support future success.

As a mother of two, June brings a unique perspective that combines professional expertise with practical parenting experience. She is highly familiar with the education systems in both Singapore and China, and is passionate about helping students explore meaningful extracurricular opportunities, develop independence, and build the confidence needed to thrive in an increasingly global world

Karl J. Koenigsbauer, affectionately known as “Mr. K,” is a highly respected educator and advisor within the U.S. boarding school community. Over the course of an extraordinary 45-year career at Eaglebrook School, he served in numerous leadership roles, including teacher, Dormitory Advisor, Associate Director of Admissions, Director of Financial Aid, Dean of Secondary School Placement, and Assistant Head of School.

Throughout his career, Mr. K became widely recognized for his expertise in secondary school placement, helping generations of students navigate the highly competitive boarding school admissions process. His deep understanding of school culture, admissions philosophy, and student development has made him one of the most trusted voices in the field.

Foundation Global Education first began working with Mr. K in 2012 while assisting an Eaglebrook student with secondary school placement. Over the following decade, we collaborated closely to support numerous students applying to senior boarding schools. During this time, we developed tremendous respect for his ability to mentor students holistically, match families with the right schools, and provide thoughtful, professional guidance throughout the admissions journey.

Today, Mr. K serves as an advisor to Foundation Global Education, bringing unparalleled experience, institutional knowledge, and insight into the boarding school admissions process. Elizabeth Beal, known as Liz, brings over 15 years of experience in college admissions and educational counseling across both secondary and higher education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bucknell University and her Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Early in her career, Liz worked with school-based college access programs that focused on helping students navigate the university admissions process. She later joined Smith College as Associate Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Multicultural Recruitment, where she played an active role in evaluating applicants and supporting diversity initiatives.

After her work in higher education admissions, Liz returned to the secondary school setting and founded the college counseling program at Fenway High School. She also served as a college and financial aid advisor for youth organizations throughout the Greater Boston area, helping students from diverse backgrounds pursue higher education opportunities.

Most recently, Liz served as Associate Director of Admissions at Concord Academy, where she worked closely with students and families from around the world while also advising students within the school community. Alongside her admissions work, she has spent years as an independent college counselor, providing personalized guidance to students applying to highly selective institutions.

Her students have successfully matriculated to universities including Yale University, Cornell University, MIT, Northeastern University, and many other leading institutions worldwide.

Courtney Minden holds a Master of Education degree from Harvard University and brings extensive experience from some of the most respected institutions in American higher education. Throughout her distinguished career, she has served in senior admissions leadership roles, including Director of Admissions at MIT, Associate Director of Admissions at Tufts University, and Vice President of Admissions at Babson College.

Having spent many years evaluating applicants and shaping admissions strategy, Courtney possesses a deep understanding of what selective universities seek in prospective students. Her experience spans both major research universities and highly regarded liberal arts institutions, providing her with a comprehensive perspective on the U.S. admissions landscape.

Courtney specializes in helping students build meaningful educational pathways by integrating the core values of a liberal arts education—intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and personal growth. She works closely with students to identify their strengths, develop authentic narratives, and align their long-term goals with thoughtful academic planning.

William Grundy holds degrees from both the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Cambridge. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Sociology of Science from Penn before completing a First-Class B.A. in Philosophy, an M.A., an M.Phil., and a Ph.D. at Cambridge University. His academic background provides him with exceptional expertise in critical thinking, humanities, and scholarly writing.

As the Founder and CEO of WPG Writing Services in New York, William has dedicated his career to helping students develop sophisticated analytical thinking and effective written communication. He has taught philosophy, political theory, and intellectual history at universities across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Mexico, while also publishing research in leading academic journals.

William’s mentoring approach is heavily inspired by Cambridge University’s renowned one-on-one supervision model. Through thoughtful dialogue, intellectual exploration, and personalized coaching, he helps students refine their ideas, strengthen their writing, and develop authentic personal narratives that stand out in highly competitive admissions processes.
