A+ World Academy: High School on a Ship - Foundation Global Education

Part of the boarding school experience is that students may encounter all kinds of world perspectives through meeting global citizens on their campus. But what if learning about the world actually meant traveling it in the span of a year?

A+ World Academy is a truly unique high school experience aboard the Tall Ship “Sørdlandet.” Students grades 10-12 will travel across Western Europe and the Americas. Along the way, students will visit places like Cuba, Italy, Brazil and Barbados– consisting approximately 200 days at sea and 70 days in various ports. They explore the world outside of the classroom. In each port the students have the opportunity to link textbook learning with real-life experiences.

A+ World Academy offers an academic year where history, geography, science and other courses are not only taught through books, but brought to life. Want to start your journey?
