About The Fessenden School
Founded in 1903, The Fessenden School is one of the closest junior boarding schools to Boston, just 10 miles from the airport. With a 1:6 teacher-student ratio, an average class size of 12, and 74% of faculty holding advanced degrees, Fessenden offers a nurturing yet rigorous learning environment for boys from Pre-K to Grade 9.
Admissions are highly competitive, with only a handful of spots available for Chinese applicants each year. In the 2025 cycle, FGE proudly helped a student secure an offer from Fessenden—read the story here.
