Kathy Chan

Education Counselor

Kathy grew up in Hong Kong and graduated from Chinese International School. During her high school years, she participated in summer enrichment programs at Choate Rosemary Hall, Brown University, as well as Oxford and Cambridge University. After graduating from high school, she studied Consumer Behaviour at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. She had experience in banking, accounting, and the financial sector before moving to the education industry. Her previous experience teaching English as a Second Language inspired her to make this move,as she wishes to now bring her experience as a student in Hong Kong at the Chinese International School, as well as an international student in Canada, to the Chinese students wishing to make the move. As a student in Canada, Kathy mentored international students coming from China, helping them acclimate, as well as offering academic and social advice to them.
