Elena Xie

Education Counselor

Elena earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She majored in the mass communication field with a focus on advertising and strategic communication. While in school, she remained a 4.0 GPA, got the full funding to support her graduate education, and taught an intense journalism writing class for two years.

Elena is passionate about education. Her past students appreciated her dedication and loved her for her sincerity and knowledge. She enjoys building deep, authentic connections with students, and she is always there for her kids whenever they encounter problems ­– be it personal or professional. Despite being a Teaching Excellence Award winner, Elena also actively participated in various student groups and clubs as the event planner and promoter during her six years of U.S. education. Such experience gave her not only leadership but also great sense of responsibility and particular attention to details. Her background in advertising also made her a strong and trustworthy communicator and problem-solver.
